​Both sessions above can take anywhere from 2-3 hours but don't let this scare you! It is very relaxing and the time frame allows for feeding breaks, snack breaks for mom and siblings etc. I love being able to take my time especially since baby is running the show.  I  prefer to throw the schedule out the window and go with the flow.  If you are wanting maternity and newborn, reach out! I have package options.

Step 01

Let's talk about what you want from your session—whether you're  looking for something professional, fun, or a little more creative and storytelling. It’s important to me that you feel comfortable and excited about the shoot. For outdoor locations, I spend time scouting, checking weather conditions, and thinking about the time of day that will best capture the light. Before your session, I will set up an invoice and a contract. I can also help you with your outfits by putting together a style board and sending a guide to help you prepare.

Step 02

The Photoshoot

Once on location, my main focus is to ensure my subjects are relaxed and enjoying the process. I believe that photo shoots should be fun! I like to create an environment where my clients can let go of any nerves, whether that’s by having a lighthearted conversation, playing their favorite music, or encouraging spontaneous moments. For portraits and newborn sessions, I guide my subjects into poses, but I’m always looking for natural expressions and candid moments. I balance this with thoughtful technical setups—using the best natural lighting, camera angles, and framing to create something special.

Step 03

After your shoot

After the shoot, I dive into the editing process. I use Lightroom to manage my RAW files, adjusting exposure, contrast, and color balance to bring out the mood of the image. For portraits, I focus on keeping the skin tones natural while adding subtle enhancements. My style is bold and rich so if that is not your vibe, consider taking another look at my portfolio before booking with me.

Depending on the package you chose, I deliver either the full digital collection or a set of unedited proof images for you to choose from. For those who invested in the full digital package, you'll  receive all the final, edited images in high resolution. I also offer the option of prints and albums, so clients can have a physical connection to their memories.
